what isn't is this: tomioka, who typically decides the distance between himself and others on his own, has found her first. she regards him with a look of faint surprise. ]
[ yep, this is totally one tomioka giyuu who normally ignores everyone for one reason or another but this time... except, well, the words of others around him have started to echo in his head so here he is. he'll stand a bit closer to her but only so much.

[ she did, and much of her grief now comes from the fact that threepio was condemned. despite the circumstances, she's grateful that dimitri and threepio sat down and had that talk.
tomioka's behavior now is reminiscent of her encounter with shinobu following zoe's conviction. that threepio seems to have committed a murder on accident and still be struggling with grasping the moment are just more reminders. mitsuri's eyes widen and she whirls around to face tomioka. ]
That wasn't your fault! If anything, you helped everyone solve the cause of Kurashiki's death, so . . .
